As for my older brother and his family… Stacy (my SIL) lives in the old house in Arlington and the girls are doing good in school. She has passed all the pre-reqs and testing to get on with the Postal Service as a letter carrier (took about 6 months for that) and now she’s on the waiting list for a route. Hopefully she will be able to follow thru on this, because it will be a major turning point for her.
My brother Bob? Well he’s managed to land himself in jail now. As of the last time I talked with Mom she still didn’t know for how long, but it looks like it’s going to be a stretch. At least as part of his time he will have to do mandatory drug counseling etc… maybe it will stick. We are all praying for that.
